Taemin, a member of the group SHINee that debuted in 2008, has been announced as part of the 2026 Coachella lineup.

According to the lineup released on the 16th (local time), Taemin will perform at Coachella on April 11 and 18 next year. He is the only male solo K-pop artist to join the lineup, drawing global attention.

Taemin has established himself as a leading K-pop performer, known for his commanding stage presence and unique performances, earning the nickname 'Idol of Idols.' His graceful yet powerful choreography and flawless live performance skills are expected to shine on the global stage at Coachella.

On the 13th, Taemin released a special digital single 'Veil.' In August, he successfully held a solo fan meeting '2025 TAEMIN FANMEETING [CLASS-MATE] in HANGZHOU' in Hangzhou, China. Recently, he has been actively performing across Asia, including his Japan arena tour '2025 TAEMIN ARENA TOUR 'Veil.''

Coachella, which began in 1999, is the largest music festival in the United States, attracting over 200,000 attendees annually. The festival is a testament to global influence, with world-renowned artists gathering to perform. The 2026 Coachella will feature a star-studded lineup, including Taemin and other top pop stars.

Meanwhile, Taemin will continue his arena tour on November 20-21 in Saga, December 4-5 in Shizuoka, November 29-30 in Chiba, and December 24-25 in Hyogo.
