Starship Entertainment has introduced a new boy group, IDID, marking their first debut in five years. The group officially joins the music scene with their debut.

IDID is the first boy group from Starship Entertainment since CRAVITY, and it consists of seven members selected through the company's survival program 'Debut Plan.' These members were chosen for their proven talent and potential.

The name IDID embodies the determination to achieve anything through effort. Their title track 'Brilliantly As I Please' is a lively song with an acoustic guitar and rhythmic drums, showcasing the group's youthful energy with refreshing vocals.

As indicated by their debut title, IDID emphasizes a refreshing concept. Although they released a pre-debut track in July, it didn't make a significant impact as it wasn't an official debut. With many boy groups adopting a similar concept, IDID needs to establish its unique identity.

When asked about what sets IDID apart, member Park Sung-hyun stated, "Our biggest charm is showing something familiar yet new and fresh." He added, "The average age of the group is 18. We want to be a unique group that combines the romance of this age with performance and hip-hop. We aim to showcase youthful and vibrant energy."

Starship has been achieving significant milestones in recent years. Girl group IVE has solidified its position as a leading artist for the company, and last year's debut group KIKI has also made notable achievements. CRAVITY has redefined its direction with a major rebranding, and MONSTA X celebrated their 10th anniversary with a performance at KSPO Dome, proving their enduring popularity. Amidst this momentum, IDID emerges as a new contender.

With IDID being Starship's first new boy group in five years, there is keen interest in whether they can stand alongside their senior groups and become a reliable growth pillar for the company. The success of IDID is expected to influence the strengthening of Starship's boy group lineup.
