South Korean singer IU has taken over the music charts with her latest remake album, 'Kkot-Galpi 3'.

Released on the 27th at 6 PM, 'Kkot-Galpi 3' quickly climbed to the top of major music charts like Melon, Genie, and Bugs. The title track, 'Never Ending Story', secured the number one spot on these platforms, with all tracks from the album entering the charts.

'Kkot-Galpi 3' marks IU's return to her remake series after eight years since 'Kkot-Galpi 2' in 2017. Known for her ability to evoke emotions across generations, IU has previously captivated audiences with remakes like 'Autumn Morning', 'Meaning of You', and 'Sleepless Rainy Night'.

The music video for 'Never Ending Story', featuring IU herself, is an homage to the film 'Christmas in August'. It surpassed 1 million views on YouTube within just 7 hours of its release. Directed by Lee Rae-kyung, known for 'Palette' and 'Through the Night', the video also stars actor Heo Nam-joon.
