AKMU also goes to Japan Summer Sonic… Global base expansion

Group AKMU is expanding its global base by participating in Japan's representative music festival 'SUMMER SONIC 2024'.

AKMU was listed in the 2024 lineup released on the 'Summer Sonic' official website on the 14th. They will appear at the Tokyo performance held at Jojo Marine Stadium & Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan on August 17th.

'Summer Sonic' is a large-scale urban music festival in Japan in which top local singers as well as world-class musicians participate. As this is AKMU's first time performing at a Japanese festival, they plan to heat up the archipelago with more passionate energy than ever.

AKMU has firmly established itself as a 'trustworthy and listenable artist' by producing numerous hit songs and gaining popularity with its extraordinary musical capabilities and unrivaled sensibility. An explosive response is expected as the popularity that has firmly taken root in Korea has expanded to the world stage.

In particular, AKMU recently successfully completed a large-scale national tour [AKMUTOPIA] spanning 17 shows in 10 cities. Attention is being paid to what kind of stage they will captivate music fans with, as they have once again proven their irreplaceable live performance, their unique pleasant chemistry, and their skill in interacting comfortably with the audience.

Meanwhile, AKMU released its fourth single 'Love Lee' last year and is receiving a lot of love from listeners. The title song 'Love Lee' achieved 'Perfect All Kill' more than 126 times on major domestic music sites and ranked first on the Melon weekly chart for the longest time in 2023. In addition, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their debut this year, they plan to meet their fans through various projects and active activities.
