Group (G)I-DLE (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua) proved that they are a global trend in name and reality at the '2023 MAMA AWARDS' (hereinafter '2023 MAMA').

(G)I-DLE attended the '2023 MAMA' held at Tokyo Dome in Japan on the 29th and won the 'Favorite Global Performer Female Group' category.

Soyeon (G)I-DLE, who stood on the podium, said, “Thanks to Neverland, I am always able to receive awards. I am so grateful.” She continued, “I think I received this award because many people around the world sang ‘Queencard’ and followed along with me. “I am so grateful,” he said.

Yuqi then expressed her gratitude, saying, "Thank you to all the agency members who made it possible for me to receive the award and to all the staff who are always by my side. Our five members worked very hard and I am grateful." They also expressed their ambition, saying, “We will work harder and become (G)I-DLE members who grow further in the future.”

On this day, (G)I-DLE heated up the scene by showing off their stage dominance worthy of ‘global performers’. First, Minnie, who appeared on 'Super Stage', attracted attention with her explosive high-pitched song 'LION (MAMA ver.)'. Minnie showed off her unrivaled presence in the joint stage with Le Seraphim Heo Yun-jin, Kepler Shaoting, dancer Monica, and Bada that immediately followed.

A little later, (G)I-DLE's group performance under the theme of 'This is I-DLE' was held on the 'Mega Stage'. (G)I-DLE, who appeared with the sound of a siren, immediately raised the heat by exploding overflowing energy to the powerful intro sound from the beginning.

Next, (G)I-DLE performed 'Queencard', reinterpreted as the '2023 MAMA' version, with a large group of dancers. (G)I-DLE drew enthusiastic cheers from the local audience by demonstrating vocal and dance skills worthy of the title 'talented girl group' and outstanding stage manners that encouraged the audience to sing along.

(G)I-DLE achieved a 'career high' by ranking 25th on the 'Billboard 200' with their first US EP album 'HEAT', released on October 6th.
