Baby Monster (Luca, Parita, Asa, Rami, Laura, Chiquita) broke a new K-pop record with the music video for their debut song 'BATTER UP', proving their influence as YG's next-generation girl group.

According to YG Entertainment, Baby Monster's 'BATTER UP' music video exceeded 22.59 million views in 24 hours after its release at midnight on the 27th. This is the highest number of views in 24 hours for a K-pop group's debut song music video. Previously, it surpassed 12 million views within half a day of its release and went straight to the top spot on YouTube as a trending video.

It stands out not only on YouTube but also on various global indicators. It topped the music video charts of the largest local music streaming sites, including Japan's Line Music and China's QQ Music. In particular, QQ Music ranked first on the 'Music Index Chart', which collects music fans' interactions and streaming in real time, as well as the top rankings on the 'Rising Chart' and 'New Song Chart'.

The sound source also received a green light for popularity in each country. It showed a steady upward trend on iTunes, topped the song charts in 21 countries, and settled in the top 5 of the worldwide charts. In addition, despite being a rookie who just debuted, he unusually entered the US and UK song charts, which are considered the world's two largest music markets.
