HYBE Labels artists, including BTS's Sugar, Jimin, Jungkook, Tomorrow by Together, and NewJeans, were listed on the list of candidates for this year's Billboard Awards.

The '2023 Billboard Music Awards' (hereinafter 'BBMA') announced the list of award candidates on the 26th (local time). The BBMA selects award nominees based on Billboard chart performance over the past 12 months, including album and digital song sales, radio airplay, streaming, tours and social engagement. In particular, the K-Pop category was newly established this year, and with the influence of K-Pop expanding globally, Hive Labels artists showed an overwhelming presence by accounting for the majority of award candidates in this category.

BTS, who won a total of 12 trophies at the 'BBMA' for 6 consecutive years from 2017 to last year, is nominated in various categories this year as a solo artist and is aiming to win awards.

Suga is named 'Top K-Pop Touring Artist', while Jungkook and Jimin were named 'Top K-Pop Touring Artist' with 'Seven (feat. Latto)' and 'Like Crazy', respectively, which topped Billboard's main song chart 'Hot 100'. It was selected as a candidate for the ‘Top Global K-Pop Song’ award.

In addition to this, Jimin also won ‘Top Selling Song/Like Crazy’, ‘Top K-Pop Album/FACE’, and ‘Top Global K-Pop Artist’. Tomorrow X Together is nominated for 'Top Global K-Pop Artist' and 'Top K-Pop Album' for their 5th mini album 'The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION', which topped Billboard's main album chart 'Billboard 200' last February. . 'The Chapter of the Name: TEMPTATION' entered the 'Billboard 200' at number one and stayed on the chart for 19 consecutive weeks, setting a new record as the longest-charting K-pop album this year.
