Onew and Kim Eana join hands to release new song 'O (Circle)'
Onew's first full-length album 'Circle' will be released on various music sites at 6 PM on March 6, and contains a total of 10 songs with a variety of atmospheres, including the title song 'O (Circle)'.
In particular, the title song 'O (Circle)' is an R&B song that combines a dreamy arpeggio synth sound, a weighty bass line, and a groovy melody. The lyrics compare our lives to nature, and the season returns every year in a different but similar form. Likewise, it conveys comfort to listeners with the message that although the good and bad things that each person experiences may seem different, they are ultimately similar.
In addition, this song was written solely by famous lyricist Kim Eana, and Onew co-wrote the collaboration song 'Way' with Punch, released through SM 'STATION' in 2021, with Kim Eana, receiving a positive response. As a result, expectations are growing for the musical sensibility that the two people, who reunite as lyricists and singers, will show.
Previously, Onew appeared on MBC Standard FM's 'Kim Eana's Starry Night', which aired on February 20th, and said about the title song 'O (Circle)', "It is a mood song that both I and the company are trying for the first time. “I prepared it thinking it would be the title song for a long time, and I chose the name of the song myself,” he said, expressing his affection for it.
Additionally, at 00:00 today (22nd), a mood sampler video was released through SHINee's various SNS accounts to preview the atmosphere of this album, capturing attention.
