Blackpink Jisoo releases official MD to celebrate the release of her solo album 'ME'

This MD commemorating Jisoo's first solo debut is composed of items reminiscent of a mysterious atmosphere through the combination of the alluring colors of red and purple with the title song 'FLOWER' as a motif. In particular, bracelets and necklaces with impressive black stone points on flower pattern pendants, ball caps with embossed embroidery points, and beanies and socks with impressive flower patterns and the initials 'ME' are perfect as daily items for spring.
A representative of YG SELECT, who planned this MD, said, “The representative feature of this new MD is that it highlights the identity of Jisoo's solo album with flower-shaped points,” and added, “We are focusing on allowing Jisoo's inner worldview to communicate with Blinks around the world. “It was correct,” he explained.
Jisoo's 'ME', released on the 31st of last month, contains the ambiguous meaning of ME's unique color and natural beauty as a solo artist. The title song 'FLOWER' creates a dreamy atmosphere by harmoniously combining lyrical lyrics, melody, and Jisoo's unique vocals.
The album 'ME' sold 870,000 copies on the first day of release, and exceeded 1 million copies (based on Hanteo Chart) in 4 days. With this, Jisoo became the first K-pop female artist to have million-selling albums both as a team and as a solo artist.
The sound source is also going strong. The title song 'FLOWER' topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in 63 countries, including the United States, and then topped the worldwide charts. On Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, she entered the 6th place, the highest ranking for a K-pop female solo artist, and maintains the top spot on major domestic music charts.
