Blackpink's 'Pink Venom' music video exceeds 600 million views

According to YG Entertainment on the 14th, Blackpink's 'Pink Venom' music video exceeded 600 million views on YouTube at 1:21 pm on this day. Approximately 239 days after being released on August 19th last year, the team became the 13th video to reach 600 million views.
This music video showed signs of an unusually popular surge early on. Within 24 hours of its release, it broke the world record for a female artist with 90.4 million views on YouTube, and achieved 100 million views at the fastest rate among K-pop girl groups (29 hours and 35 minutes).
'Pink Venom' is a hip-hop genre song that highlights Blackpink's unique charisma. The sound of Korea's traditional instruments combined with a strong beat catches the ear from the intro, and the sharp rap and deadly vocals that are powerfully developed on top of it maximize the charm of each of the four members.
This song topped iTunes in 81 countries immediately after its release, ranked first on the U.S. Billboard Global 200 for two consecutive weeks, and ranked first on Billboard Global for three consecutive weeks. They then ranked 22nd on the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Official Chart, respectively, showing off their powerful global influence.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is currently carrying out the ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK]’, the largest world tour for a K-pop girl group, mobilizing approximately 1.5 million people. After successfully completing 14 North American concerts in 7 cities and 10 European tours in 7 cities last year, the four members are heading to Asia to meet more fans. On April 15th and 22nd (local time), they will be the first K-pop artist to grace the stage as the headliner at the 'Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival' in the United States.
