Actor Jinyoung Returns as Producer, Reunites with I.O.I for New Track

Actor Jinyoung is making a comeback, but this time as a producer.

On the morning of the 28th, Management Run announced, "Jinyoung, who has established himself as an actor through dramas and films, is set to reunite with the group I.O.I this May. Fans of K-pop, both domestically and internationally, can look forward to Jinyoung's music, which will add a touch of emotion as Producer Jinyoung, not Actor Jinyoung."

Jinyoung has consistently pursued music by participating in writing and composing the OSTs for the projects he has starred in. Now, he is reuniting with the group I.O.I, whom he first connected with through Mnet's 'Produce 101' in 2016.

Jinyoung has contributed to both the lyrics and composition of I.O.I's pre-release track 'Goodbye with a Smile.' This song is an archive track that Jinyoung created a decade ago, preserving the youthful emotions from that time.

Through this reunion with I.O.I, Jinyoung aims to reinforce his presence as an artist who bridges both acting and producing.
