'The Devil Wears Prada' Returns After 20 Years: Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway Discuss Sequel
'The Devil Wears Prada' is making a comeback after 20 years.

On the morning of the 8th, a press conference for the movie 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' was held at the Grand Ballroom of the Four Seasons Hotel in Seoul. The event was attended by the film's stars, Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway.

Meryl Streep remarked, "The first film was released 20 years ago, a time when smartphones didn't exist. But now, everyone uses smartphones, and they have changed everything, including the fashion industry, which faces significant financial challenges due to this shift."

Anne Hathaway added, "The impact of digital innovation on us has been tremendous. Both the journalism industry, where Andy belongs, and the fashion industry, where Miranda is, have been greatly affected. The character I play, Andy, has changed a lot over the past 20 years. In the first film, Andy was a 22-year-old fresh college graduate with many ideas but little experience. Now, she has developed her own perspective and vision, and you'll see her as a potential partner to Miranda."

Meanwhile, 'The Devil Wears Prada' Season 2, releasing after 20 years, follows the story of legendary fashion magazine Runway's editor Miranda (Meryl Streep), Andy (Anne Hathaway) who returns as a planning editor, and Emily (Emily Blunt), who has become an executive at a luxury brand. They navigate a completely transformed media landscape to reclaim their dominance in the fashion world. The film is set to release on the 29th.
