The Netflix animation 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' (referred to as 'K-Demon Hunters') has won the Best Original Song award at the 98th Academy Awards for its OST 'Golden'.

On the 15th (local time), the 98th Academy Awards took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles (LA).

'Golden' from 'K-Demon Hunters' triumphed over 'Dear Me' from 'Diane Never Dies', 'I Ride to You' from 'Sinners: The Sinners', 'Train Dreams' from 'Dreams of a Train', and 'Sweet Dreams of Joy' from 'Viva Verdi' to claim the prestigious award.

Lee Jae, who performed 'Golden', took to the stage and expressed gratitude, saying, "Thank you to the Academy for this wonderful award." He continued, "Growing up, people teased me for liking K. Now, we are all singing songs with Korean lyrics. I am proud," adding, "Like the song, I realized this award is about resilience, not success," as he became emotional.

On the same night, 'K-Demon Hunters' also won the Best Animated Feature award, making it a double winner. Lee Jae celebrated by performing 'Golden' alongside Audrey and Ray Ami.
