Netflix's animated film 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' has won the Best Animated Feature award at the 98th Academy Awards.

On the 15th (local time), the 98th Academy Awards ceremony took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles (LA).

'K-Pop Demon Hunters' claimed the honor of winning the Best Animated Feature award. The film competed against 'Arco', 'Elio', 'Little Amelie', and 'Zootopia 2'.

Director Maggie Kang, upon receiving the trophy, expressed her gratitude by saying, "Thank you to the Academy and everyone who brought us to this moment." She also added, "I apologize for only now creating a film with protagonists who look like me. The next generation doesn't have to wait anymore. This film is for Korea and Koreans around the world," shedding tears of joy.

'K-Pop Demon Hunters' is also a strong contender for the Best Original Song category with 'Golden'.
