Remembering Kim Sae-ron: 'Everyday We' Cast Reflects on Late Co-Star
The cast of 'Everyday We' fondly remembered their late co-star Kim Sae-ron.

On the 23rd, a press screening and conference for the film 'Everyday We' (directed by Kim Min-jae) was held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Director Kim Min-jae and actors Lee Chae-min, Ryu Ui-hyun, and Choi Yoo-joo attended the event.

'Everyday We' is a coming-of-age romance that begins with a sudden confession from a childhood friend, set against the backdrop of the chaotic age of seventeen. It is the final work of Kim Sae-ron, who passed away last year.

Kim Sae-ron played the role of Yeoul, a high school girl thrown into confusion by her childhood friend's unexpected confession. Lee Chae-min portrayed Hosu, the boy who confesses to his childhood friend just before entering high school, marking his screen debut with this film. Ryu Ui-hyun took on the role of Hojae, the senior who captures Yeoul's heart. Choi Yoo-joo appeared as the lovable high school girl Joo-yeon. Choi Yoo-joo, a former member of the girl group Cherry Bullet, won the Best New Actress award at the 2024 SBS Drama Awards.

The cast members reminisced about Kim Sae-ron. Lee Chae-min shared, "We were the same age. Although we were friends, she guided me well as a senior. At that time, I was lacking and had much to learn, so I tried to gain as much as I could. She taught me many details. Looking back, I'm very grateful. I was very nervous on set, but she eased the atmosphere like a friend and was honest about what I needed. Thanks to her, we filmed smoothly."

Choi Yoo-joo said, "I remember feeling awkward and nervous when I first met her on set, but Sae-ron made the atmosphere enjoyable. I didn't even know how to act in front of the camera, but she taught me step by step. She was a great senior and colleague. I'm thankful." Ryu Ui-hyun recalled, "This wasn't my first project with her. We've known each other for a while. She was a year younger than me, but we got along well like friends. There was much to learn from her on set, and she was a great actress. I miss her and want to see her again."

'Everyday We' is set to be released on March 4th.
