Lee Joon-hyuk Joins Cast of 'The Man Who Lives with the King' Set to Premiere Next Month
On the 26th, Story J Company, Lee's agency, announced, "Lee Joon-hyuk will be appearing in the film 'The Man Who Lives with the King', which is scheduled to be released on the 4th of next month. He will bring energy to the role of 'Makdong Ajae', so please look forward to it."
Directed by Jang Hang-jun, 'The Man Who Lives with the King' is set in 1457 Cheongryeongpo and tells the story of a village chief who volunteers for exile to revive his village and a young dethroned king in exile.
Lee Joon-hyuk's character, 'Makdong Ajae', is a resident of the village Gwangcheongol, where the young dethroned king Lee Hong-wi (played by Park Ji-hoon) is exiled. Known for his rustic dialect and humor, he stands out as a character who warmly cares for Lee Hong-wi and reacts emotionally to his changes, showcasing a pure and human side. Additionally, his dynamic interactions with the villagers add entertainment to the film.
Lee Joon-hyuk has been recognized as a 'scene-stealer' across films, TV, and theater, seamlessly embodying his characters and earning the trust of audiences. Whether bringing smiles or portraying ambition and desire, he has been loved by many. Anticipation is high for his performance in 'The Man Who Lives with the King'.
