Jo Yoo-jung Reflects on Her Meaningful Screen Debut in 'Even If This Love Disappears Tonight'
Actress Jo Yoo-jung, who made her screen debut with the film 'Even If This Love Disappears Tonight' (hereafter 'EITLDT'), expressed her heartfelt sentiments.

On the 6th, Jo Yoo-jung, who stars in the film 'EITLDT,' was interviewed at the Ten Asia office in Jungnim-dong, Seoul.

'EITLDT' is a youth romance about Seo-yoon (played by Shin Si-a), a high school girl suffering from anterograde amnesia, and Jae-won (played by Choo Young-woo), who has a heart condition. Jo Yoo-jung plays Choi Ji-min, the only friend aware of Seo-yoon's memory disorder. The film is an adaptation of Ichijo Misaki's bestselling novel, which has sold over 1.3 million copies worldwide.

Reflecting on her first film project, Jo Yoo-jung shared, "It was a dream come true, making it all the more meaningful. I've only done dramas before, and earlier this year, I did theater. I am grateful for this opportunity that came during a time of waiting."

Following the film's release last month, Jo Yoo-jung met audiences multiple times through stage greetings. She said, "I gained a lot of strength. There were many young movie fans, which heightened the energy on set. Everyone welcomed and supported us, which gave us strength." She continued, "Meeting fans like this makes me want to work harder. Since there are many young fans, I am determined to live well and become a good actor who shows them a positive image every day."

When asked if any audience members stood out, she laughed and said, "Fans who call me pretty are the best," and added, "I was really grateful for a banner that said 'Ji-min, my tear button.' It was touching." She also mentioned, "Before filming, I prayed that my acting would provide some comfort to the audience, even if just for a moment. Knowing there are people who feel that way is memorable."

Born in 1999, Jo Yoo-jung debuted in 2018 with the SBS drama 'Still 17.' She has appeared in dramas such as 'Love Alarm Season 1,' 'Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life,' 'Record of Youth,' 'Adult Trainee,' and 'It May Be a Little Spicy Today.'
