Actor Park Hae-soo continues to showcase his versatility across film, drama, and theater.

On the 23rd, an interview with Park Hae-soo was conducted at a café in Jongno-gu, Seoul, regarding his role in Netflix's 'The Great Flood.' Park appeared in a black turtleneck and gray jacket, exuding a gentlemanly charm.

'The Great Flood' is an SF disaster blockbuster that depicts the struggle of those clinging to humanity's last hope on the final day of Earth, submerged by a great flood. Park Hae-soo plays Hee-jo, a member of the personnel security team at the AI research lab where Anna works.

During the interview, Park discussed the differences in acting across various formats. He stated, "The approach to the character is the same, but the rehearsal process differs."

He elaborated, "In theater, you make a lot of mistakes during rehearsals, trying various methods and finding direction. The collaborative rehearsal process is crucial." He added, "In drama, a long time is needed before going on set. There is a period of solitary and lonely struggle while observing the character."

Despite his extensive filmography, Park expressed a desire to continue showing new sides of himself. When the press remarked, "It's hard to imagine you doing comedy," he confidently replied, "It's amazing, I can do it."

According to FlixPatrol, a global OTT platform ranking site, 'The Great Flood' ranked number one in Netflix's global film category for three consecutive days starting from its release on the 20th.
