Hilarious Cameo by Jin Seon-kyu Adds Laughter to Crime Action Comedy 'Informant'

The crime action comedy film 'Informant' brings extra laughter with a special appearance by Jin Seon-kyu.

The movie 'Informant' follows the story of Oh Nam-hyuk (played by Heo Sung-tae), a once-ace detective who has lost his passion, will, and investigative skills after being demoted. He teams up with informant Jo Tae-bong (played by Jo Bok-rae), who has been making money by providing information on major cases. Together, they accidentally get involved in a big scheme, leading to a series of comedic and action-packed events.

Jin Seon-kyu, known for his comedic role in the film 'Extreme Job,' makes a special appearance in 'Informant' due to his connection with director Kim Seok. Jin appears as an insurance company employee who confronts Oh Nam-hyuk, who is hospitalized after a car accident. Despite his brief screen time, Jin delivers a burst of laughter to the audience. In a particularly amusing scene, Oh Nam-hyuk asks the insurance employee, "Do you know who I am?" This line, an ad-lib by Heo Sung-tae, recalls the actors' previous collaboration in 'The Outlaws,' adding an extra layer of humor.

Regarding this, actor Heo Sung-tae commented, "When I heard Jin Seon-kyu would appear, I thought, 'Wow, amazing.' The line 'Do you know who I am?' in the scene with him was an ad-lib I came up with."

Featuring the comedic performances of Heo Sung-tae, Jo Bok-rae, and others, 'Informant' is currently showing in theaters nationwide.
