The film 'The Photo from 1977,' which was highlighted in the Cannes Film Festival newsletter as one of the most anticipated Taiwanese films of the year, promises high quality. Set in Zhongli, Taiwan, in 1977, the film is a romantic period drama about three young individuals pursuing their dreams amidst a time of chaos and hope, using their cameras and sweat. Jinyoung stars alongside Taiwanese rising star actress Moon Lee, known for her roles in the Netflix drama 'The Victim's Game' and the Busan International Film Festival screening 'I Am the Secret in Your Heart.'

Jinyoung has been officially invited to the Golden Horse Awards, one of the oldest and most significant film festivals in the Chinese-speaking world. At this gathering of actors and filmmakers from across Asia, Jinyoung will proudly represent the Taiwanese original film 'The Photo from 1977' as its lead actor.

Last year, Jinyoung reportedly stayed in Taiwan for several months solely for the film, fully immersing himself in the local culture and language with the local crew. This experience was a new challenge for him as an actor, making his attendance at the Golden Horse Awards even more meaningful and genuine.

On November 17th and 18th, Jinyoung is scheduled to participate in the first audience Q&A (GV) following the screening of 'The Photo from 1977.'
