Actor Hong Kyung's Dedication Shines at 'Good News' Production Briefing

Actor Hong Kyung showcased his dedication to his character.

On the morning of the 14th, a production briefing for the Netflix film 'Good News' was held at the JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by actors Seol Kyung-gu, Hong Kyung, Ryu Seung-bum, and director Byun Sung-hyun.

During the event, Director Byun humorously commented on Hong Kyung, saying, "He's a bit tiring. He asks a lot of questions. To answer them, I had to study my own script."

He added, "I learned a lot too. He doesn't just ask questions; he shares his thoughts as well. While I laid the foundation for the character Go Myung, the final product was created together with Hong Kyung."

'Good News' is a film set in the 1970s, depicting a suspicious operation by a group of people determined to land a hijacked plane by any means necessary. It was officially invited to the Special Presentations section of the 50th Toronto International Film Festival and the Gala Presentation of the 30th Busan International Film Festival. The film will be released on the 17th.
