'Boss' Dominates Box Office During 10-Day Holiday, Surpassing 2 Million Viewers

'Boss' is a comedic action film that portrays the fierce competition among organization members who are vying for the position of the next boss, crucial for the future of their organization. The film stars Jo Woo-jin, Jung Kyung-ho, Park Ji-hwan, and Lee Kyu-hyung.
According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network, 'Boss', which premiered on October 3, dominated the box office during the 10-day holiday period from October 3 to 12. This year's Chuseok holiday was exceptionally long, with only one day not included in the break, allowing audiences to show consistent interest and support for the film throughout the golden holiday.
Upon its release, 'Boss' immediately secured the number one spot at the box office, maintaining its lead for eight consecutive days and amassing a total of 2,036,589 viewers. The film broke the 1 million viewer mark in just five days and became the fastest October release to reach 2 million viewers since the pandemic began in 2020, continuing its impressive box office streak and drawing attention to its future success.
'Boss' is currently showing in theaters nationwide.
