'No Other Choice' Dominates Box Office for 8 Consecutive Days

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network on October 2, the film 'No Other Choice' directed by Park Chan-wook, attracted 75,264 viewers on October 1, securing the number one spot at the box office with a cumulative audience of 1,309,491.
'No Other Choice' tells the story of 'Mansu' (played by Lee Byung-hun), a company employee who felt he had achieved everything in life, only to be suddenly laid off. The film follows his journey as he prepares for his own battle to protect his wife, two children, and the home he worked hard to acquire, while seeking reemployment. This is the latest work by the renowned director Park Chan-wook, known for films such as 'Joint Security Area' (2000), 'Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance' (2002), 'Oldboy' (2003), 'Lady Vengeance' (2005), 'Thirst' (2009), 'The Handmaiden' (2016), and 'Decision to Leave' (2022).
