Upcoming Korean-Japanese Film 'House of Ghosts' Announces Star-Studded Cast
The highly anticipated Korean-Japanese collaborative film 'House of Ghosts' has finalized its main cast and revealed its lineup. The film will feature Kim Jin-young (Dex), Choo So-jung (Exy of WJSN), Park Hae-rin, and Yoon Sung-bin in leading roles. The diverse cast, known for their dynamic performances across various genres and platforms, is expected to create a captivating synergy.

Directed by Jo Chang-geun and produced by Joajoa Films in collaboration with LKM Factory, 'House of Ghosts' is a gourmet fantasy romance that explores themes of life and death, loss and freedom, and the warm connections in human relationships. The film is based on a short story by renowned Japanese author Banana Yoshimoto, known for works like 'Kitchen' and 'Lizard'.

Kim Jin-young, who made his acting debut with a realistic performance in the LG U+ drama 'Tarot', which was the first Korean series to compete at the Cannes International Series Festival last year, will play the male lead Yoon-sung. His character appears indifferent on the outside but is caring and warm-hearted.

Choo So-jung, the leader of WJSN, has solidified her acting career with impressive performances in dramas like 'Divorce Insurance' and 'Huh's Restaurant'. She will portray Se-jung, a pragmatic and rational job seeker who is honest about her emotions.

Park Hae-rin, who showcased her stable acting skills in LG U+ dramas 'Tarot' and 'When Silver Bells Ring', will play Joo-hyun, a lively and proactive leader-type character who energizes the narrative.

Joining the cast is former skeleton gold medalist and national athlete Yoon Sung-bin, making his acting debut. He will take on the role of Min-soo, Se-jung's past lover and a pottery teacher, showcasing a new side of his talents.

Produced by Joajoa Films, known for high-quality works like 'Memories of a Dead End' and 'Ghost of Oksu Station', 'House of Ghosts' is set to be a global project, with a release planned for the second half of next year in both Korea and Japan.
