Yoona Embraces Dual Roles in 'Pretty Crazy': A Tale of Daytime Innocence and Nighttime Mischief
Yoona, star of 'Pretty Crazy', shared her thoughts on portraying a character with both angelic and devilish traits.

On the 6th, a press screening for the film 'Pretty Crazy' was held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Director Lee Sang-geun, along with actors Yoona, Ahn Bo-hyun, and Joo Hyun-young, were in attendance.

'Pretty Crazy' is a romantic comedy that tells the story of Gil-gu (played by Ahn Bo-hyun), an unemployed young man who takes on an unusual job of monitoring Seon-ji (played by Yoona), who transforms into a devil every night.

Yoona plays Seon-ji, who runs a bakery by day and becomes a devil by night. Taking on a role that is almost like playing two characters, Yoona explained, "I made sure to highlight the differences between Day Seon-ji and Night Seon-ji. During the day, I styled her to be pure and introverted, with an 'I' personality. At night, I dressed her in glamorous outfits from head to toe, including nail art. Her speech is exaggerated and energetic, unlike Day Seon-ji."

Yoona added, "This character has more energy than any I've played before. So during filming, I tried everything I wanted without hesitation." Having previously worked with Director Lee on 'Exit', Yoona admitted, "Honestly, I was a bit shy about how to express this character. But the director guided me and even demonstrated himself. I was able to immerse myself in this high-energy character and enjoy the performance."

'Pretty Crazy' is set to premiere on the 13th.
