According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network for movie tickets, 'Omniscient Reader' recorded a cumulative audience of 1,001,689 as of the 5th, surpassing the 1 million viewer mark. The film has been praised for its refreshing action, unique visuals, and an unprecedented world-building, broadening the appeal of the fantasy action genre. Audiences have expressed high satisfaction, stating, "It's become my favorite movie," "I was so engrossed I lost track of time," and "This is the perfect movie to beat the heat." Additionally, the film is proving the power of Korean cinema with impressive box office results in international markets such as Taiwan and Hong Kong.
