Explore the Multifaceted Charm of 'Zombie Daughter' Through New Stills

'Zombie Daughter' is a comedic drama about a doting father, portrayed by Jo Jung-suk, who embarks on a secret training mission to protect his daughter, the last remaining zombie on Earth. The film has unveiled eight stills highlighting Sua's various charms, from a rebellious teenager to a granddaughter, student, and cat lover.

In one still, Sua is seen in a tense moment as her zombie instincts awaken, snapping at her father, Jeong-hwan, in the car. The father-daughter duo, fleeing the zombie virus, seeks refuge at grandmother Bamsun's (Lee Jung-eun) house in their hometown, Eunbong-ri. Here, Jeong-hwan's protective nature and Sua's cautious demeanor reveal their precarious daily life.
Conversely, another still shows Sua as Bamsun's Go-Stop mate, exuding a completely different charm. Sitting leisurely on the porch with Bamsun and the cat Aeyong, Sua's expressionless face with a card stuck to her forehead conveys the unique humor and warmth of 'Zombie Daughter.'

Another still captures Sua as a blushing student, heavily made-up to hide her zombie identity. Her exaggerated makeup over pale skin and visible veins, combined with her gym uniform and awkward stance on the playground, evoke laughter while also recalling the poignant past of a once-ordinary student.
In yet another still, Sua's life as a cat lover is depicted, showing her bonding with Aeyong. Whether playing comfortably with the cat or teasing it with a twig in the yard, Sua's warmth and humanity shine through despite her zombie nature.
'Zombie Daughter' is currently screening in theaters nationwide.
