Zombie Daughter: Special Webtoon Episode Released Ahead of Film Premiere

'Zombie Daughter' is a comedic drama about a devoted father, Jeong-hwan (played by Jo Jung-suk), who undergoes secret training to protect his daughter, the last remaining zombie in the world. The film stars Jo Jung-suk, Lee Jung-eun, Yoon Kyung-ho, Jo Yeo-jeong, and Choi Yoo-ri. In anticipation of the film's release on the 30th, a special episode of the Naver Webtoon 'Zombie Daughter' has been unveiled for fans and prospective viewers.
This special episode is an original content piece created to celebrate the film's release, and it will be serialized over three days from July 29 to 31, with one episode released each day. It is the first new content since the webtoon's conclusion five years ago and three years after the release of an animated special. The original creator, Lee Yoon-chang, has directly participated in this project.
The episode will feature webtoon characters introducing the film 'Zombie Daughter' and will include behind-the-scenes stories related to the film's main shooting location in Namhae, as well as insights into Lee Yoon-chang's cameo appearance. While sharing the 'Zombie Daughter' universe, the episode offers a standalone experience, providing a unique enjoyment for both original fans and new audiences.
The film 'Zombie Daughter' will also feature a special appearance by creator Lee Yoon-chang. He will make a surprise cameo as a caricature artist in an amusement park scene, interacting humorously with Jo Jung-suk, Yoon Kyung-ho, and Choi Yoo-ri, delighting fans of the original webtoon.
'Zombie Daughter' will be available in theaters nationwide on the 30th.
