Lee Gi-kwang, a member of the K-pop group Highlight and an actor born in 1990, graced the red carpet at a film festival, heightening expectations for 'I Kill You'. Celebrating his 17th year in the entertainment industry since his debut in 2009, Lee continues to captivate audiences.

On July 3rd, Lee attended the opening ceremony of the 29th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN), joining the cast of the hard-boiled action drama 'I Kill You', in which he stars.

'I Kill You' marks the first drama directed by Yoo Ha, a master of the action genre known for films like 'Marriage Is a Crazy Thing', 'Once Upon a Time in High School', and 'A Dirty Carnival'. Before its official release, the drama has been invited to the Adrenaline Ride section of BIFAN and will be screened as a film version on July 5th.

In 'I Kill You', Lee Gi-kwang plays Ho-jung, a privileged heir with ambitions for his family's succession. The recently released trailer on BIFAN's official YouTube channel showcases Lee's intense gaze and inner turmoil, delivering thrilling tension.

Walking the BIFAN red carpet ahead of the screening, Lee Gi-kwang captured the spotlight with his radiant aura and visuals. This summer, audiences can look forward to his fresh character transformation as he transitions from the small screen to the big screen with 'I Kill You'.

'I Kill You', featuring Lee Gi-kwang, is set to premiere on OTT platforms this summer.

Lee Gi-kwang, known as the main dancer of Highlight, continues to excel as both a singer and actor. Last year, he received praise for his portrayal of Baek Eun-ho in the tvN drama 'Marry My Husband', where he depicted a pure love story.

Highlight, the group Lee Gi-kwang is part of, will hold their solo concert 'RIDE OR DIE' at the KSPO DOME in Seoul from August 11th to 13th. The group will also embark on an Asia tour, performing in Taipei, Macau, Manila, Tokyo in August, and Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur in September.
