Special Webtoon Collaboration for 'High Five' Movie to Launch on Kakao Platforms

The movie 'High Five' is set to release a special webtoon by popular webtoon artist Jidduung in collaboration with Kakao Entertainment. This special webtoon will be available on Kakao Page and Kakao Webtoon on the 26th at 11 AM.

'High Five' is a comedic action film that follows five individuals who gain unique superpowers through organ transplants and encounter those who covet their abilities. The film stars Lee Jae-in, Ahn Jae-hong, Ra Mi-ran, Kim Hee-won, Yoo Ah-in, Oh Jung-se, and Park Jin-young.

In an exciting collaboration with Kakao Page and Kakao Webtoon, 'High Five' has released spoiler cuts. The special webtoon is created by Jidduung, known for action fantasy genres like 'Labor Essence' and 'Six Shells,' which have amassed over 100 million views. The film's unique concept of superpowers transferred through organ transplants, combined with Jidduung's distinct comedic style, is expected to captivate the MZ audience.

The special webtoon serves as a prequel, exploring the origins of the mysterious organ donor who bestowed superpowers on the film's characters. It intricately weaves the story of the primordial gods governing order and chaos, the inheritors of these powers, and those who seek to seize them. The cave sequence in the latter part of the webtoon is a crucial link between the film and the webtoon, offering viewers enhanced details when watched and read together.
