The film has already attracted over 4 million viewers in South Korea during the Chuseok holiday period. Following its domestic success, 'Veteran 2' is also drawing significant interest from international audiences.
'Veteran 2' has been sold to 163 countries, including North America, the Middle East, Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, and Poland. The film is set to premiere in the Philippines and Indonesia on September 25, followed by releases in Hong Kong and Thailand on September 26, and North America and Vietnam on September 27.
The film was also invited to the Midnight Screening section of the 77th Cannes Film Festival and the Special Presentation section of the 49th Toronto International Film Festival, where it received positive responses from international audiences and critics.
