Jang Yoon-ju Returns to the Big Screen with 'Veteran 2'

Jang Yoon-ju is making a comeback to the big screen with 'Veteran 2'.

Jang Yoon-ju, who has been actively building her career in various fields such as modeling, drama, variety shows, and movies, will return to theaters this fall with the movie 'Veteran 2'. Earlier this year, Jang Yoon-ju opened the 2024 theater season with 'Citizen Deok-hee', where she teamed up with Ra Mi-ran, Yum Hye-ran, and Ahn Eun-jin to chase down voice phishing criminals under the name 'Deok Avengers'. Additionally, Jang Yoon-ju received love for her natural acting as Baek Mi-sun, the sister of Baek Hyun-woo (Kim Soo-hyun), in the drama 'Queen of Tears', which caused a syndrome in the first half of the year. Through her role as Baek Mi-sun, who runs a beauty salon in Yongduri and lives with her parents, she showcased genuine sibling chemistry with Kim Soo-hyun, playing a crucial role in driving the show's ratings.

Having been active in movies and dramas in the first half of the year, Jang Yoon-ju is gearing up for a screen comeback in the second half with 'Veteran 2'. Returning as Detective Bong, one of the beloved characters from 'Veteran', Jang Yoon-ju will once again join the Veteran team, including Hwang Jung-min, to passionately and righteously catch criminals.

The character stills released together also draw attention to Jang Yoon-ju's unchanged visuals and character from nine years ago. The charm of Detective Bong, who cannot stand injustice and jumps into action, can be confirmed in theaters on September 13.

'Veteran 2' is an action crime investigation drama where veteran detective Seo Do-cheol (Hwang Jung-min) and rookie detective Park Sun-woo (Jung Hae-in) join forces to chase a serial killer that has shaken the world. It will be released nationwide on September 13.
