The film 'A Normal Family' has been officially invited to the 29th Busan International Film Festival.

'A Normal Family' has been officially invited to the 'Korean Cinema Today - Special Premiere' section of the 29th Busan International Film Festival, which will be held from October 2 to 11. The 'Korean Cinema Today - Special Premiere' section showcases the latest and most representative works of contemporary Korean commercial cinema with popular appeal and prestige. 'Ordinary Family' will be screened for the first time in Korea as a Korean premiere.
'A Normal Family' was first screened worldwide in the Gala Presentation section of the 48th Toronto International Film Festival. It has also been officially invited to the 26th Udine Far East Film Festival, the 18th London Korean Film Festival, the 35th Palm Springs International Film Festival, the 26th Taipei Film Festival, among others, achieving an impressive 19 official invitations. The film won the Best Screenplay Award at the Directors' Week of the 44th Fantasporto International Film Festival and the Screenplay Award at the 39th Mons International Film Festival.
'A Normal Family' is directed by Hur Jin-ho and portrays the collapse of beliefs and the hypocritical nature of humans as four ordinary people face the criminal acts of their children. The film is set to be released in theaters this October.
