'Veteran 2' starring Hwang Jung-min to be released in September


Actor Hwang Jung-min will return to the theater with 'Veteran 2', which will be released on September 13. Among the various works representing his filmography, the works that stand out are 'Deliver Us From Evil' and 'Spring in Seoul', which showed Hwang Jung-min's ability to overcome difficult theater conditions and achieve box office success.


Detective Seo Do-chul, played by Hwang Jung-min, is a detective in the violent crimes investigation team who chases down and catches criminals no matter what, and sees through any case once he cracks down on it. Following "Veteran," which mobilized 13.41 million viewers, "Veteran 2" will face a new crisis while tracking down a suspicious serial murder case, and actor Hwang Jung-min will fill the screen with his signature acting skills and action scenes that only he can show. Hwang Jung-min, who is returning to "Veteran 2," said, "As I returned as Detective Seo Do-chul, I wanted to maintain the energy and strengths that I showed in the first part," sharing his thoughts on taking on the character.
'Veteran 2' is an action crime investigation drama about the youngest detective Park Sun-woo (Jung Hae-in) joining the violent crimes investigation unit of veteran detective Seo Do-cheol (Hwang Jung-min), who catches bad guys to the end, and chasing a serial killer who has caused a stir in the world. It will be released in theaters nationwide on September 13th.
