Kwon Yuri's first solo starring film 'Dolphin' was released

The movie ‘Dolphin’ starring Kwon Yuri will be released today (13th).

Kwon Yuri's first solo starring film, 'Dolphin', tells the story of a woman in her 30s who is afraid of changes in her life, but finds courage through the joy she accidentally discovers and jumps into the world. Kwon Yuri plays the role of Na-yeong, a local newspaper reporter who steadfastly protects the Seochon village where she has lived her entire life and lives with the reward of taking care of her new family and the village people. He tells lyrical stories that can be found in everyday life through his unique sensibility.

Kwon Yuri is expected to warm the hearts of the audience by expressing in a simple yet captivating way how Nayoung, who was struggling to protect herself after losing her parents in an unexpected accident, encounters bowling and finds courage in facing the world.

Kwon Yuri stayed at the filming location for most of the filming period for ‘Dolphin’. In addition, she wore costumes based on her own ideas to embody her sense of life. It is said that he led the scene lively with bright energy and took the lead in communicating about the work with the director and actors.

'Dolphin' was invited to domestic and international film festivals such as Jeonju International Film Festival, Seoul Independent Film Festival, Muju Sangol Film Festival, and Vancouver Asian Film Festival in Canada.
