'Robot Dream' selected as a candidate for the 96th Academy Award for Best Animated Feature

The animation film 'Robot Dream' (directed by Pablo Berger) was nominated for the Best Animated Feature Award at the 96th Academy Awards.

'Robot Dream' is a rhythmic movie depicting the dream-like daily life of a dog living alone in Manhattan, New York, who one day gets a robot companion.

'Robot Dream', which was officially invited to the Special Screening section of the 76th Cannes Film Festival and the grand prize winner of the Best Feature Feature Award at the 47th Annecy International Animated Film Festival, was selected as a candidate for the Best Animated Feature Award at the 96th Academy Awards. The nominated works included 'Spider-Man: Across the Universe', 'How Will You Live', and 'Elemental'.

Foreign media outlets also gave evaluations such as “The most adorable movie you will see this year” (The Wrap) and “A movie with a great heart about friendship” (Time Out).

The movie 'Robot Dream' is scheduled to be released domestically in March.
