The movie ‘Ms. ‘Apocalypse’ director Lim Seon-ae, “A story about learning the courage not to hate”

The movie ‘Ms. 'Apocalypse' (director Lim Seon-ae) released the main poster and trailer.

'Ms. 'Apocalypse' is a strange and lovely new millennium drama that takes place in 1999, when the world was thought to be ending, when Eugene, the wife of her unrequited love, appears to 'Young-mi', who lost everything because of her unrequited love.

Director Lim Seon-ae, who attracted attention in the Korean film industry with her debut film '69 Years Old', swept the KNN Audience Award at the Busan International Film Festival, the Director Award at the Female Filmmaker of the Year Award, and the Park Nam-ok Award at the Seoul International Women's Film Festival with that work. In addition, he participated in the storyboards of 'Sabaha', 'Namhansanseong', 'Hwacha', and the Netflix series 'Squid Game'.

Director Lim Seon-ae, who sent a heavy social message through her previous works, said 'Ms. ‘Apocalypse’ still listens to the stories of marginalized people while showing unexpected loveliness and witty charm.

Director Lim Seon-ae said, "It is a story about an imperfect person passing through the end of the century and the new millennium, meeting an imperfect person, coming to look at the world kindly because of love, and saving his own life by learning the courage not to hate, even though his life is not perfect." He said.

'Ms. 'Apocalypse' will be released on January 24, 2024.
