Movie '12.12: THE DAY' ranks first in box office for 28 consecutive days

The movie '12.12: THE DAY' (director Kim Seong-su) has approached the 10 million mark.

'12.12: THE DAY' is a movie depicting the nine hours of action to prevent the rebellion of the new military regime that occurred in the capital Seoul on December 12, 1979.

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network on the 20th, '12.12: THE DAY' attracted 125,815 viewers on the 19th and has maintained the top spot at the box office for 28 consecutive days. '12.12: THE DAY' attracted a cumulative audience of 9,219,203.

In second place at the box office, the movie '3 Days Vacation' (directed by Yook Sang-hyo) attracted 21,777 people on the same day, with a cumulative audience of 464,629, and in third place at the box office, 'The Host' (directed by Hirokazu Kore-eda) was seen by 9,490 people. The cumulative number of viewers was 306,828.
