‘Noryang’, the last of Yi Sun-sin’s trilogy, recorded 320,000 advance reservations

The last of the Yi Sun-shin trilogy, 'Noryang: Sea of Death' (directed by Kim Han-min), recorded the highest advance reservation volume in the series, surpassing the previous films.

'Noryang: Sea of Death' is a war action masterpiece depicting Admiral Yi Sun-sin's final battle to completely annihilate the Japanese army trying to retreat from Joseon, seven years after the outbreak of the Japanese Invasion of Korea.

According to the integrated movie theater ticket network (as of 7 a.m.) on the 20th, the number of advance reservations was 320,444, ranking first in the overall movie reservation rate. This figure surpasses the previous film ‘Hansan: Appearance of the Dragon’.

It is proving strong word of mouth, showing a steep rise in advance sales in the five days before its release. During the preview, there were evaluations such as "It was a truly overwhelming feeling and thrill. I will watch it 12 times" and "I think the battle direction was chosen the best among the Yi Sun-sin trilogy."

The movie ‘Noryang: Sea of Death’ was released today (20th).
