Movie '12.12: THE DAY' is close to exceeding 9 million viewers

The movie '12.12: THE DAY' (directed by Kim Seong-su) is on the verge of exceeding 9 million.

'12.12: THE DAY' is a movie depicting the nine hours of action to prevent the rebellion of the new military regime that occurred in the capital Seoul on December 12, 1979.

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network on the 18th, '12.12: THE DAY' on the 17th attracted 445,508 viewers, maintaining first place in the box office. '12.12: THE DAY' recorded a cumulative audience of 8,941,111, approaching 9 million viewers.

In second place at the box office, the animation film 'Pororo Superstar Adventure' drew 480,811 people on the same day, with a cumulative audience of 1,590,734, and in third place at the box office, '3 Days of Vacation' recorded a cumulative audience of 360,428. The number of viewers was 4,250,872, and in fourth place at the box office, 'The Host' attracted 150,805 people, recording a cumulative number of viewers of 2,880,602.
