Shim Eun-kyung's Film 'Days and Travels' Officially Invited to Locarno Film Festival

Actress Shim Eun-kyung's film 'Days and Travels' has achieved the honor of being officially invited to the International Competition section of the 78th Locarno Film Festival.

Shim Eun-kyung's agency, 'Fanfare,' announced, "The film 'Days and Travels,' starring Shim Eun-kyung, has been officially invited to the International Competition section of the 78th Locarno Film Festival. As the lead actress, Shim Eun-kyung is set to attend the festival in person," sharing the exciting news.

'Days and Travels' is a highly anticipated collaboration between the young and acclaimed director Sho Miyake, who is gaining attention at film festivals worldwide, and actress Shim Eun-kyung, who has made history as the first Korean actress to win Best Actress awards in both Korea and Japan, solidifying her status as a global star.

Shim Eun-kyung expressed her excitement, saying, "It is truly an honor to be part of Sho Miyake's beautiful world. I am thrilled at the thought of presenting this film on the prestigious stage of the Locarno Film Festival." She added, "I hope everyone will join us on the first journey of 'Days and Travels.'"

The Locarno Film Festival is one of the oldest film festivals in the world, with its history dating back to 1946. Held annually in Locarno, northeastern Switzerland, every August, it is considered one of the top six film festivals globally. This year's festival will take place from August 6 to 16, spanning 11 days. Shim Eun-kyung, who has been officially invited, will attend the event in person.
