The movie 'Teacher's Lounge' (directed by Ilker Chatak) has released stills showing the relationships between students, parents, and teachers that take place in a school setting.

'Teacher's Lounge' is a school thriller film depicting the ordeals a new teacher experiences as she becomes involved with students, parents, and fellow teachers while attempting to solve a series of thefts on campus.

The released stills fully capture the new teacher's struggles for the students and school. The cool expressions of the teachers, students, and parents, and the roaring protagonist raise curiosity about the full story of the incident.

Director Ilker Chatak wrote the screenplay based on his own experiences as a student and a theft incident that occurred at the school of his younger brother, a math teacher. It depicts the reality of the German education system based on everyday incidents that occur in actual schools. The 4:3 standard ratio and crudely repetitive atonal music add a sense of immersion to events taking place in a limited space.

Leonie Benesch, who plays the main character, new teacher Carla, perfectly shows the complex psychology with her eyes and facial expressions, and the students who pressure the teacher are also expected to double the immersion in the play with their powerful acting.

The movie ‘Teacher’s Lounge’ is scheduled to be released domestically in December.
