Lee Jung-jae wins the Hawaii Film Critics Association Award for Best New Director
Director Lee Jung-jae received the Hawaii Film Critics Association Award for Best New Director for his film ‘Hunt’.



Recently, the Hawaii Film Critics Association announced the 2022 Hawaii Film Critics Society Awards, and director Lee Jung-jae was named in the Best New Filmmaker category for his directorial work 'Hunt'.



Previously, Korean films such as Bong Joon-ho's film 'Parasite' (Best Foreign Language Film Award) and Park Chan-wook's film 'The Handmaiden' (Best Foreign Language Film Award) won awards at the Hawaii Film Critics Association.



Director Lee Jeong-jae swept domestic film festivals including the Blue Dragon Film Awards, Korean Film Producers Association, Korean Association of Film Critics Awards, and Buil Film Awards last year with his first directorial film, 'Hunt'. In addition, he is recognized for his global directing skills by winning the Hawaii Film Critics Association Award.



In addition, 'Hunt' has received favorable reviews since its release in North America in December of last year and is continuing to be a box office hit not only in Korea but also overseas.
