IU, who made her acting debut in KBS 2TV's 'Dream High', has grown greatly as an actress starting with tvN's 'My Mister'. IU, who cleared away the controversy over her acting skills that arose in SBS's 'Moon Lovers - Scarlet Heart Ryeo' and is now known for her acting skills, added 'Broker' to her filmography that was mainly focused on independent films such as 'Persona' in 2019 and 'No One's Place' in 2021. I entered the film industry in earnest.
IU continues her screen presence through director Lee Byung-hun's new film 'Dream', which is scheduled to be released this year. IU, who worked with actor Park Seo-joon, played the role of Lee So-min, a broadcasting station producer, who filmed the hastily created soccer team participating in the Homeless World Cup in this work. Park Ji-hoon, who stole women's hearts by shouting 'Save in my heart', was a child actor who debuted in MBC's 'Jumong' at the age of 7. Thanks to my exposure to acting since childhood, my basic skills are solid. After debuting with the boy group Wanna One in 2017, he pursued acting, which was his original dream, and received attention for his leading roles in JTBC's 'Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency', KakaoTV's 'Love Revolution', and KBS 2TV's 'Blue Spring from a Distance'.
Chungmuro recognized Park Ji-hoon’s potential. Park Ji-hoon confirmed his Chungmuro debut in director Lee Young-guk's movie 'Audrey', which is scheduled to be released this year. 'Audrey' is a film about the hope that a son, who is very attached to his mother, faces as his mother struggles with Alzheimer's. Park Ji-hoon played the role of the son, Kang Ki-hoon, and worked with Kim Jeong-nan, who played the mother. The point of interest is how Park Ji-hoon will portray Ki-hoon's detailed inner self as he watches his mother lose her memory and become a child.
IU and Park Ji-hoon are already receiving a lot of love as singers. Perhaps, the background to the constant challenge of those who may otherwise be complacent is because of their pure thirst for the genre called ‘acting’. For IU and Park Ji-hoon, the weight of their role as actors will not be any different from that of other actors.
