The film 'White River', directed by Masol, was invited to the 52nd Rotterdam International Film Festival and successfully completed the official press conference and world premiere screening.

On the 7th, the agency WNY announced that director Masul's film 'White Tree' was invited to the Bright Future section of the Rotterdam International Film Festival, selling out in the shortest time among the films screened during the festival, receiving overwhelming interest and favorable reviews from officials. He announced that he had completed his schedule.

As if to prove the strong local interest, 'White River' was already in charge of overseas sales at Reel Susfact in Paris, France, before the start of the film festival. It will also participate in the European Film Market at the Berlin International Film Festival, which will be held on February 16th.

'White River' is a work that captivates and humorously expresses the changing dependency relationship between a wife who had to accept the demands of her voyeuristic husband during a pandemic, and the man who appeared to them.

Director Masul said, "It is a great honor as a director to be invited to this year's Rotterdam International Film Festival. As it is a representative European film festival, the atmosphere at the venue was really hot, and I was very surprised to hear that 'White River' was sold out as soon as it opened." He continued, "Through this film festival, as a new director, I have become more determined and confident that I want to continue producing movies and sharing them with audiences. We ask for your continued interest."

The Rotterdam International Film Festival, which celebrated its 52nd anniversary this year, is the largest film festival in Europe and one of the top 10 film festivals in the world. A variety of works were invited to this film festival, including director Ma Seol's film 'White River', director Shin Yeon-sik's '1 Win', director Ji-young Jeong's 'Boys', and director Kim A-young's 'Delivery Dancer's Sphere'.
