Jin Seon-gyu, “First top leading role since debut, continued to be doubtful”
Interview with Jin Seon-gyu as Si-heon in the movie ‘Count’

Jin Seon-gyu told various stories related to the movie 'Count' (director Kwon Hyuk-jae), which is about to be released in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the 15th.
Jin Seon-gyu debuted in 2004 with the play ‘The Mirror Princess Story of Pyeonggang’. In 2008, he appeared on the big screen with 'The Good, the Bad, and the Weird', starting with 'Please Marry Me', and then appearing in 'Mushin' and 'Six Flying Dragons'.
He received the Best Supporting Actor Award at the 38th Blue Dragon Film Awards for the movie 'Crime City', clearly showing his presence. Since then, he has been actively working by appearing in the movie 'Confidential Assignment 2: International' and the drama 'Readers of the Heart of Evil'.
Jin Seon-kyu's first top-tier film, 'Count', is the story of Si-heon (played by Jin Seon-gyu), a former gold medalist and My Way teacher who never lets go once he gets a bite, meets a ragtag group of his students and delivers a delightful blow to the world. In the play, Jin Seon-gyu plays the role of Si-heon. Siheon is a gold medalist and former My Way teacher.
Previously, Jin Seon-gyu shed tears at the press conference held after the media preview of 'Count'. I became emotional while explaining the text message I received from former national team member Park Si-heon.

He continued, "Teacher Siheon contacted me in the morning. I was touched myself. I didn't cry because it was hard, but what the teacher sent me was, 'What should I do if Jin Seon-gyu, the best in Korea, gets in the ring and I'm shaking? The players next to me are even more nervous, so do well.' “He did it. I was so moved that I cried,” he added.
Jin Seon-gyu said, "It's scary to be the first in any organization. I'm not good at it. I don't know what leadership is, but what I feel is leading well. I felt comfortable as a member. A leader is a role that demonstrates power. I also "I want to do that, but I'm not good enough as a great leader. I felt it this time too. If I have to continue learning in the future, and if I have to gradually get used to the moments of inadequacy that I felt, I hope I learn it quickly."
Jin Seon-gyu has friends from his hometown who created the ‘nose surgery community.’ Jin Seon-gyu made everyone laugh by saying, "While filming 'Count', I met up with my friends in Jinhae. I also ate my favorite raw fish. They said something about my nose being low, but I was able to play this role because of my low nose."
Also, "Because my nose was low, I felt like a boxer. My friends told me that I did a good job. During the filming period, I spent time with my friends and my nieces and nephews after filming. I went to theater performances and went to school when I was 20 years old. "I came to Seoul. All I did was meet my friends and come up once a year, but this time I stayed for a few days, so I met my friends leisurely. We had a cup of coffee and talked for a while at night. We talked a lot, just like when we were in high school," he said.
Meanwhile, 'Count' will be released on the 22nd.
