‘Confidential’ The highest opening score for a film released this year
The movie 'Confidential' (directed by Lee Won-tae) ranked first in the box office, attracting 180,000 people on the first day of its release.

According to PlusM Entertainment on the 2nd, 'Confidential' attracted 188,817 people on the first day of its release on the 1st. The cumulative number of viewers, including paid previews, was 192,613.

This figure surpasses the highest opening score of 174,879 in 2023 recorded by 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania'.

Meanwhile, 'Confidential' is set in Busan in 1992, with Hae-woong (played by Cho Jin-woong), a candidate for the National Assembly, a hidden powerhouse in politics, Sun-tae (played by Lee Seong-min), and activist gangster Pil-do (played by Kim Moo-yeol) in a fierce battle to turn the tables with secret documents that will shake up the Republic of Korea. This competitive crime drama is currently receiving rave reviews.
