Actor Tom Cruise and director James Cameron did not attend the 95th Academy Awards.

The 95th Academy Awards were held at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, Los Angeles, USA at 5pm (local time) on the 12th. American comedian Jimmy Kimmel served as host.

While hosting the show, Jimmy Kimmel expressed his disappointment by mentioning, "James Cameron and Tom Cruise were absent." At the same time, he predicted that the awards ceremony would be held under strict time management and compared it to 'Avatar: Path of Water', which has a long running time of 192 minutes, saying, "If it is too long, it will be difficult for Director Cameron to watch."

Tom Cruise appeared in 'Top Gun: Maverick', and James Cameron is the director of the film 'Avatar: Waterways'.

At the same time, he introduced the singers who participated in the awards ceremony, saying, "Rihanna is here, and Lady Gaga is also here."

Meanwhile, Jimmy Kimmel satirized the Will Smith assault incident that occurred last year. He joked, "If you use violence during the show, I will give you a chance to speak for 90 minutes," and drew attention by saying, "If you come to me because you are angry at what I say, many people will block you."

He then said, “I have to deal with Yang Ja-kyung, Spider-Man, and the Mandalorian,” and “I also have to deal with Guillermo, who can be said to be my right hand,” causing laughter. Each of these actors reflected on the camera posed with bright expressions, adding to the cheerfulness.
