Brandon Fraser, 'The Whale', Best Actor Award
Brandon Fraser of the movie 'The Whale' won the Best Actor Award at the 95th Academy Awards.

The 95th Academy Awards were held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, USA on the 13th (Korean time).

On this day, Austin Butler of 'Elvis', Colin Farrell of 'The Banshee of Inisherin', Brandon Fraser of 'The Whale', Paul Mescal of 'Aftersun', and Bill Nighy of 'Living' competed for the Best Actor trophy.

As a result of the announcement, Brandon Fraser was honored with the award. Brandon Fraser said, "If there was a multiverse, this is what it would look like. I am grateful to the Academy for this honor. I am also grateful to Studio DHL for making such a bold film."

He continued, "Thank you for allowing me to join 'The Whale'. Samuel D. Hunter has been like a lighthouse for us. We have the heart of a whale. You have done things that no one else can do." He added.

Brandon Fraser said, "Only whales can swim to the deepest depths. I started in the film industry 30 years ago and it wasn't easy. There were things I couldn't do back then, so I want to thank them for this recognition. Our actors “Otherwise, it wouldn’t have been possible. It felt like I was diving into the sea and the air was rising above the water,” he said, shedding tears.
