Jung So-min of the movie '30 Days', "Is it burdensome to act in a comedy? I just do my best no matter what genre it is."

Actress Jung So-min of the movie '30 Days' said she had no concerns about challenging the comedy genre.

On the 26th, Jung So-min was interviewed about the movie '30 Days' (directed by Nam Dae-jung) at a cafe located in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul.

The movie '30 Days' is about D-30, 'Jeongyeol' (Kang Ha-neul) and 'Nara' (Ha-neul Kang), who were unable to withstand each other's petulance and stubbornness and ended up suffering from amnesia just before they became perfect strangers. In the play, Jung So-min takes on the role of Hong Nara and shows herself being broken to her heart's content. As an actress, she must have felt a lot of pressure about willingly taking on the comedy genre. When asked about the charm of the '30 Days' scenario, Jung So-min answered honestly, "It is always important whether the script can be read well. I read the script very quickly and with fun. I wanted to type this line like this, so I had no choice but to do it."

Through '30 Days', Jung So-min showed off the acting of a lifetime by freely performing comedy to the point where it could be called her 'retirement film'. When asked if he liked the comedy genre, he said, "I tend to like it regardless of the genre." When asked if he had any concerns about whether his image as a comedy actor would be solidified, he added, "I don't think I have any such concerns. No matter what genre I do, I don't think I've ever thought about that. I think I'm doing my best."

Jung So-min, who reunited with director Nam Dae-jung after the movie 'Gibangdoryeong' (2019), showed infinite trust. Jung So-min said, "One of the things I am grateful to the director for is that he created a very good atmosphere on set. I also had a lot of fun going to the set during 'Gibangdoryeong'. It would have been impossible without him controlling the atmosphere. It helped me during filming. It gave me strength every day. “It seems like we’ve grown together,” he said.

Referring to director Nam Dae-jung about the evaluation that it looks pretty even though it is a comedy, he expressed his gratitude by saying, "Watching the movie, I could feel that he put a lot of love into each and every actor. When that happened, I felt warm. They put a lot of effort into it." revealed.

The movie '30 Days' will be released on October 3rd.
